Ingredients
Beef stew meat - 907g
2 lbs.
Large Russet potatoes
peeled and chopped - 680-907g (2-3 large potatoes)
Large carrots
peeled and sliced - 150-200g (3 large carrots)
Large white onion
chopped - 150-200g (1 onion)
Green peas - 225g
1 1/2 cups
Tomato soup
canned - 425g (15 oz.)
Cream of mushroom soup
canned - 425g (15 oz.)
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch (23x33 cm) baking dish.
Add the beef stew meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, and peas into the prepared dish. Season everything with salt and pepper, then stir well.
Pour both the tomato soup and cream of mushroom soup over the top of the mixture, then stir gently until everything is combined.
Tightly cover the baking dish with foil, then bake for 5 hours.
After baking, let the dish rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can add your favorite root vegetables to this stew to make it even more hearty!
