Ingredients
  

  • Beef stew meat - 907g 2 lbs.
  • Large Russet potatoes peeled and chopped - 680-907g (2-3 large potatoes)
  • Large carrots peeled and sliced - 150-200g (3 large carrots)
  • Large white onion chopped - 150-200g (1 onion)
  • Green peas - 225g 1 1/2 cups
  • Tomato soup canned - 425g (15 oz.)
  • Cream of mushroom soup canned - 425g (15 oz.)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch (23x33 cm) baking dish.
  • Add the beef stew meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, and peas into the prepared dish. Season everything with salt and pepper, then stir well.
  • Pour both the tomato soup and cream of mushroom soup over the top of the mixture, then stir gently until everything is combined.
  • Tightly cover the baking dish with foil, then bake for 5 hours.
  • After baking, let the dish rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add your favorite root vegetables to this stew to make it even more hearty!
