Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Breast: 450 grams 1 pound, boneless and skinless
  • Oil: 3 tablespoons for cooking
  • Chow Mein Noodles: 340 grams 12 ounces, uncooked
  • Cabbage: 2 cups chopped
  • Carrot: 1 large julienned
  • Green Onions: 1/2 batch chopped
  • Garlic Cloves: 2 minced

Chow Mein Sauce:

  • Oyster Sauce: 6 tablespoons
  • Low Sodium Soy Sauce: 3 tablespoons
  • Light Sesame Oil: 3 tablespoons not toasted
  • Chicken Broth: 120 ml 1/2 cup
  • Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
  • Granulated Sugar: 1 tablespoon

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the sauce by whisking together oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  • Cook and prepare noodles as per package instructions.
  • Sauté chicken in oil until golden, remove, and set aside. Cook veggies in the same pan.
  • Combine chicken, noodles, and sauce in the pan. Cook together for a perfect blend of flavors.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
