Ingredients
  

  • 1360 grams 3 lbs. of drumsticks
  • 1 teaspoon 4.93 ml of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 4.93 ml of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon 2.46 ml of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon 2.46 ml of ground black pepper
  • 1 packet of Sazon seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons 30 ml of sofrito (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Allow the chicken to soak in the marinade for at least 2 hours. For best results, marinate overnight.
  • When ready to cook, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  • Place the marinated drumsticks on a baking tray.
  • Bake the chicken for 30 minutes, then flip the drumsticks over and continue baking for 20 more minutes.
  • Raise the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) for the final 5-10 minutes to achieve a beautiful golden-brown finish.
  • Serve your Sazon Baked Drumsticks piping hot!

Notes

Feel free to customize this recipe by adding other spices according to your liking. If you prefer some heat, consider including chili powder or paprika.
