Ingredients
  

  • 450 grams 1 pound Italian Sausage, cooked
  • 1 yellow onion chopped, sautéed in sausage grease
  • 7 eggs
  • 120 ml 1/2 cup milk
  • 565 grams 20 ounces bag frozen Diced Hash Browns
  • 225 grams 8 ounces brick of Mild Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit). Use a non-stick spray to prepare your medium casserole dish (we used a 9 x 13 dish). Cook the sausage and sauté the onions in the sausage grease. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, including the cooked sausage and onions. Pour the mixture into your prepared casserole dish, making sure to reserve about one cup of the cheese for the topping. Bake for 35 minutes. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the top with the reserved cheese. Return the casserole to the oven for an additional 8 minutes. Once it's done, let the casserole rest for about 15-20 minutes before serving. Enjoy this sensational breakfast dish!
