Classic Brioche French Toast. Made with thick slices of brioche dipped in a creamy egg mixture, this breakfast classic is sure to become a family favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz 8 slices of Brioche bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

  • Slice the brioche bread and set it aside.
  • In a deep and wide bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon (if using), and salt until smooth.
  • Preheat a large cooking pan over medium to medium-low heat, adding a touch of oil.
  • Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, letting it soak for about 15 seconds before placing in the pan.
  • Cook each slice for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Look for the center of the bread slice to raise as the egg inside cooks. When it deflates and feels firm, your French toast is ready.
