Instructions

  • Start off by adding the olive oil to a large skillet. Arrange the pounded chicken breasts in the pan, and evenly season them with 21 Salute Seasoning, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Cook the chicken over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. During this time, let the chicken sear without moving it.
  • Flip the chicken over after the initial 5 minutes. The chicken should have developed a medium golden color. Allow the chicken to cook on the second side for about 5 minutes, or until it's fully cooked through. As before, don't disturb the chicken while it's searing.
  • Once the chicken is done, remove it from the skillet using a slotted spatula and set it aside to rest.
  • Now it's time to deglaze your skillet. Carefully pour in the white wine (or broth, if you prefer), and let the liquid bubble and steam for a few seconds.
  • Next, add the butter to the skillet and allow it to melt completely. This should take about a minute. Make sure to stir continuously while the butter is melting.
  • Add the finely minced garlic to the skillet and cook until it becomes fragrant. This should take about a minute. Remember to keep stirring to avoid burning the garlic.
  • After the garlic is cooked, turn off the heat. Return the chicken back into the skillet, flipping it around in the garlic butter sauce. Spoon the sauce over the chicken to make sure it's well-coated.
  • Optionally, garnish your mouthwatering Garlic Butter Chicken with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy the explosion of flavors in your mouth!

Notes

Substitutes work well with this Garlic Butter Chicken recipe. If you prefer, you can replace the chicken broth with vegetable broth or the white wine with apple juice. Be sure to serve the chicken hot, and why not pair it with some freshly baked bread or a side of veggies for a complete meal?
