Creamy Garlic Chicken recipe! This dish is not just an ordinary meal but a culinary experience brimming with aromatic garlic and savory parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
  

Chicken:

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts about 450g or 1lb
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour about 64g
  • 4 Tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese about 20g
  • 3-4 Tablespoons olive oil

Sauce:

  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth about 590ml
  • 1 beef bouillon cube or 1 tsp better than bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce can sub Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ cup heavy cream about 120ml
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese optional (about 50g)

Instructions
 

  • Combine the chicken broth, bouillon, soy sauce, onion powder, mustard powder, and thyme in a bowl and set aside.
  • On a separate plate, mix flour and Parmesan cheese. Slice the chicken into thinner pieces, pound to ½ inch thickness, season with Italian seasoning and salt/pepper, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Set aside.
  • Melt butter in the skillet, add garlic cloves, and caramelize for 6-7 minutes. Add flour, whisk for 1-2 minutes, then slowly stir in the chicken broth mixture.
  • Stir in the cream, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, add the chicken back to the pan, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with mashed potatoes and roasted green beans.

Notes

The Creamy Garlic Chicken's flavors can be enhanced by using fresh, high-quality ingredients. If you don't have fresh garlic, garlic powder can be used as a substitute, but fresh cloves are highly recommended for a more authentic taste.
Searing the chicken properly is crucial for this recipe, as it develops a flavorful crust that enriches the dish. Be patient and let the chicken sear uninterrupted for the best results.
For a vegetarian version, you can replace the chicken with firm tofu and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
