Ingredients
  

  • 1 tube 397g refrigerated pizza crust
  • 6 Tbsp 90g pasta sauce
  • 1 cup 113g mozzarella cheese
  • 12 pepperoni slices approximately
  • A sprinkle of oregano leaves optional

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C).
  • Unroll the pizza crust on parchment paper or a floured surface and cut it into 6 squares.
  • Spread about 1 Tbsp of pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese, and 2 pepperoni slices on half of each square.
  • Fold each square to form triangular pizza pockets and seal the edges with a fork.
  • Optionally, brush the top of each triangle with a small amount of oil, and sprinkle with dried oregano leaves and additional mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 10-13 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve with extra pasta sauce for dipping.

Notes

You can substitute the pepperoni with cooked sausage, ham, or your favorite veggies for a different twist.
If you're short on time, pre-made marinara sauce works well as a dipping sauce.
To make it healthier, try using whole-grain pizza crust and part-skim mozzarella cheese.
