After the 2022 World Cup team lost in the quarterfinals, Santos was fired by the former European champions.
Additionally, the 68-year-old has received a couple of offers that he is contemplating, claims transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
Former Portugal head coach Fernando Santos is examining his options for his future move, Romano tweeted.
“European & Chinese clubs have approached Santos but the most likely next destination is now the Middle East.”
Santos famously dropped Cristiano Ronaldo for their last two fixtures in Qatar. Ronaldo this week joined Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia as a free agent.
