Peter Obi reacts to Soludo’s outbursts Do your bit, I have done mine
The Nigerian new presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has reacted to the recent attack against him by the incumbent Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo.
Supporters of the Labour Party (LP) candidate who thought Soludo’s outburst was unnecessary reacted negatively to the development.
Obi responded by stating that Soludo is still his brother during the 2022 Lagos Business School (LBS) Alumni Conference in Lagos.
Obi claims, “Soludo is still my brother; we are close. I will continue to pray for him. God has given him the chance to try other things that I didn’t succeed at and do them successfully.
“So, if there is anything pending, governance doesn’t finish, people are still in government in America, so you stop where you will stop, other people will continue from there.
Since he is the governor of the state and is my older brother, he is even smarter than me. I am a trader, so he has more knowledge and will be able to complete tasks more effectively than I am.

“I have done a bit on my own as a trader, and now that the professor is there, he will do his own thing as a professor; he will roof the schools I didn’t cover because that’s how government works,” the trader said.

The Labour Party candidate responded to Soludo’s earlier statement that Obi’s investment in the state was negligible by stating that there are still pieces of evidence of his investment while serving as the state governor.
Making clarifications on the investment, Obi said, “The one they said is worthless, we invested 3.5 billion nairas in International Breweries. That facility is there employing directly and indirectly over 10,000 Anambarians. The shares were at the time being sold at N50, today the shares are about N5 or so.
“When you spread your investment, certain investments may rise and others will fall, but overall, the company is still operating, doing well, and is still a part of the world chain in general. It’s not that I’m justifying my brother’s comments that I felt the need to explain.
