How to Delete Facebook Account – Getting Started:

Sign in to your Facebook account you are willing to delete and make sure you input your email/phone number and password correctly.

Step 1:

Once you’re logged in, now click on the three dots on the top of your right-hand side on the Facebook app. (Please note that we are using Facebook Lite for this experiment) make sure you are also using Facebook Lite.

Now scroll down to where you see settings and click on it.

Click on Personal and account information

Now on this step, you’re able to edit your personal information, like if you want to change your name, phone number, or email. Now click on Access and Control.

In this step, choose deactivate and deletion. Note that you want to delete your Facebook account. The one that’s not relevant.

Step 6:

In this step, you will see deactivating or deleting your Facebook account. We have two options here (Deactivate account and Delete account). We aimed to delete Facebook account, so click on delete account and click continue.

Step 7:

In this step, Facebook wants to know the reason why you want to delete your account. Kindly ignore those questions and click on continue account deletion.

Step 8:

Scroll down to where you see delete account and click on it.

Step 9:

Confirm that this is your account. Before you permanently delete your account, enter your password. Input your password correctly and click on continue.

Cheers! Your account will be deactivated on Facebook, your friends will not see you again and after 14 business days. Your Facebook account will be permanently deleted.
