Fabrizio Romano rules out Frenkie de Jong transfer

FABRIZIO ROMANO RULES OUT FRENKIE DE JONG TRANSFER
Frenkie de Jong remained with Barcelona despite Manchester United’s almost 100-day pursuit of him in the summer.
According to some rumors, United is still interested in signing De Jong, but that depends on the player’s willingness to go, which isn’t the case.
By asserting that De Jong is content at Barcelona and has no immediate plans to leave the team, transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano has now dashed United’s ambitions of signing the midfielder.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, Romano added that a transfer to United is impossible.

Fabrizio Romano rules out Frenkie de Jong transfer;
“For January, I think it is almost impossible, but for the summer it depends on the player, because Frenkie de Jong has always said no to any move, it’s not just to Manchester United, he decided to stay at Barcelona, he’s happy at Barcelona, if Frenkie changes his mind, then we will see.”
Erik ten Hag needs reinforcements in midfield but he won’t be getting De Jong midway through the season. There’s absolutely no chance of that happening.
